Welcome to the HometownHockey.ca - 2014 Olympic Pool. A group of die hard hockey fans founded the Cornwall Fantasy Hockey League in 1995. That lead to the birth of Murph's Fantasy Hockey League in 2003 and the Windsor Fantasy Hockey League in 2013. During each Olympic year, we have conducted an Olympic Hockey Pool - to make watching the games even more exciting! You are invited to join us and while you are at it...why dont you invite a friend!

Sault. Ste. Marie - Sep. 24, 2016: The Windsor Spitfires exploded for five goals in the third period, overcoming a 2-0 deficit for a huge, 5-2 win in Sault Ste Marie on Friday night. The Spits will head home to host the Greyhounds on Thursday night at the WFCU Centre. FULL STORY

Windsor - Sep. 22, 2016: The Windsor Spitfires launched their road to the Memorial Cup season with a 4-1 win over the Erie Otters in front of 5,418 fans at the WFCU Centre. Shaun Bily opened the scoring for Erie at 8:53 of the first period. It was all Spitfires from there on with goals from Cole Carter, Cole Purboo and Aaron Luchuk to give the home team a 3-1 lead after 20 minutes. Hayden McCool rounded out the scoring for the home squad in the third period. FULL STORY

Windsor - Sep. 9, 2016: General Manager Warren Rychel is pleased to announce the Windsor Spitfires and goaltender Lucas Patton have agreed to a standard Ontario Hockey League player and education package. Patton, a 6'1, 181-pound native of Waterloo, Ontario, is a product of the Toronto Marlboros AAA system, and spent part of the 2015-16 season with the Newmarket Hurricanes of the OJHL. FULL STORY

Ottawa - Aug. 21, 2016: Ottawa Senators (@Senators) general manager Pierre Dorion announced today that the club has signed forward Logan Brown to a three-year entry-level contract. Brown, 18, was the Senators’ first-round pick (11th overall) at June’s NHL Draft in Buffalo. He established new major junior career highs with 74 points (including new highs of 21 goals and 53 assists) and 40 penalty minutes while appearing in 59 regular-season games in his second full campaign with the Ontario Hockey League’s Windsor Spitfires in 2015-16.
