Spokane - Mar. 15, 2014: Forward Mitch Holmberg became the Spokane Chiefs' all-time leading goal scorer on Friday night, finding the back of the net for the 62nd time this season, in helping the Spokane to a 4-3 shootout victory over the Tri-City Americans in front of a sold out crowd in what was the Chiefs home ice regular season finale. Holmberg currently leads all WHL scorers with 62 goals and 118 points heading into the final weekend of the 2013-14 season FULL STORY

Kennewick - Nov. 7, 2013: Parker Bowles scored the winning goal with 26.6 seconds remaining in the third period, as the Tri-City Americans came back from a two goal second period deficit to defeat the Portland Winterhawks 3-2 at the Moda Center on Wednesday night. The win snapped the Winterhawks 11-game winning streak and handed Portland just its second home loss of the season, both of which have come against the Americans. FULL STORY

Portland - Oct. 17, 2013: Adam Rossignol scored what turned out to be the eventual game-winner early in the 3rd period, as the Portland Winterhawks earned a 4-1 win over the Tri-City Americans in Wednesday night WHL action. Netminder Brendan Burke was outstanding for the Hawks stopping 29 shots in the win.. Americans starter Eric Comrie was even busier, blocking 44 of the 47 pucks fired his his way in the loss. O’Reilly, a 6’2 180-pound defenseman from Southlake, Texas, spent last season with the Victory Honda U-16 of the Tier 1 Elite League. FULL STORY
