Toronto - Feb. 19, 2020: Denis Malgin was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs by the Florida Panthers for Mason Marchment on Wednesday. Each forward can become a restricted free agent July 1. Malgin has 12 points (four goals, eight assists) in 36 games this season and 60 points (28 goals, 32 assists) in 184 games through four NHL seasons, all with the Panthers. FULL STORY

Sunrise - Jun. 26, 2019: Roberto Luongo, the third-winningest goalie in NHL history, announced his retirement on Wednesday after 19 seasons. "This is one of the toughest decisions I've faced in my life and it took me a long time to make it," Luongo wrote in a letter posted on the Florida Panthers website. "After thinking about it a lot over the past two months and listening to my body, I made up my mind. It just feels like the right time for me to step away from the game." FULL STORY

Sunrise - Apr. 8, 2019: Joel Quenneville was named coach of the Florida Panthers on Monday. Quenneville is the second-winningest coach in NHL history and guided the Chicago Blackhawks to the Cup in 2010, 2013 and 2015. Quenneville was the longest-tenured coach in the NHL before being fired by the Blackhawks, who hired him on Oct. 16, 2008, to replace Denis Savard. FULL STORY
