Boucherville - Apr. 5, 2019: The player ranked at No. 7 in the QMJHL’s 50-year history is Dale Hawerchuk. Stoney Point - Apr. 21, 2015: It was great to see NHL Playoff Hockey return to Winnipeg last night as the Winnipeg Jets played host to the Anaheim Ducks. Congrats to David Thompson, True North and the fans of Winnipeg. I remember watching Dale Hawerchuk play there in front of the infamous Winnipeg Whiteout - where fans all wear white for playoff games. FULL STORY

Edmonton - Mar. 24, 2015: While losing a game on your home-ice by three goals might suggest a team was badly outplayed, the Edmonton Oilers actually managed to hold their own against the Winnipeg Jets on Monday night over at Rexall Place. Unfortunately for the Oilers, it was the play of their starting goaltender and special teams that ultimately turned this one into an easy win for the visiting Jets. FULL STORY

Edmonton - Mar. 1, 2015: Looking at the Winnipeg Jets most recent trade for Carolina Hurricanes forward Jiri Tlusty, one cannot help but begin to notice a pattern. For the second time this season, it looks as though general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff has used Paul Maurice as a tool in helping decide whether or not he would go out and acquire a player via trade. Windsor - Feb. 22, 2015: Ah….so that’s what a win feels like. Feels pretty good. Saturday night, at the Air Canada Centre the Toronto Maple Leafs played host to the Winnipeg Jets, and played a pretty decent game before another sold out crowd. James van Riemsdyk sent everyone home happy when he scored in overtime to give the Leafs a much needed win. FULL STORY

Edmonton - Feb. 17, 2015: While the Edmonton Oilers fell in a shootout to the Winnipeg Jets on Monday night to close out their season-high six game road trip on a bit of a sour note, Nail Yakupov continued his recent resurgence with a two goal night. The young Russian looks to have finally righted the ship after struggling badly under the guidance of one Dallas Eakins during what was a season and half the former first overall pick would love to forget. Edmonton - Feb. 12, 2015: At the end of the day, Evander Kane got his wish and was traded away from the Winnipeg Jets to the Buffalo Sabres in what was a blockbuster deal. While the Sabres are likely thrilled with acquiring such a talented player, this trade could eventually go either way. The Jets did pick up a major piece in Tyler Myers in the deal and because of it, Winnipeg is unquestionably a better team in the here and now. FULL STORY

Edmonton - Feb. 8, 2015: For anyone following the Winnipeg Jets since 2011, the current chapter in the Evander Kane saga can’t be surprising. The big surprise here would be that it has taken this long to for Kane’s situation to implode to the degree it recently has. FULL STORY

Edmonton - Jan. 29, 2015: With the NHL Trade Deadline not that far away and the Winnipeg Jets in the midst of a playoff race out west, one can't help but wonder what general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff might have up is sleeve. One thing seems very clear, the chances of Dustin Byfuglien being part of any sort of move would appear to be almost non-existent. FULL STORY

Edmonton - Jan. 10, 2015: When it comes to the Winnipeg Jets, it is almost impossible to not smile when you look back at the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship. On top of watching Team Canada bring home their first Gold at the tournament since 2009, Jets' fans were given the opportunity to watch six of their teams top prospects do their thing on the world stage and they had to have been thrilled with how things played out. Stoney Point - Jan. 4, 2015: The Toronto Maple Leafs completed their longest road trip of the season with an underwhelming 5-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. Toronto went 2-5 on the seven game trip away from the Air Canada Centre due to the World Junior Hockey Championships. Only securing four out of a possible 14 points on this road swing may end up coming back to bite Randy Carlyle’s team when the season winds up in April. FULL STORY

Edmonton - Jan. 2, 2015: They say bad things come in threes but when it comes to injuries and the Winnipeg Jets, the arithmetic curve seems to be trending much higher. With their top four blueliners still out with injuries and Evander Kane now joining them on the sidelines, the Jets will be in tough to maintain their current playoff position. In spite of these challenges, Winnipeg has still managed to thold their own and currently sit in a three-way tie for sixth in the Western Conference. FULL STORY

Edmonton - Dec. 30, 2014: As we approach the midway point of the 2014-15 National Hockey League season, the Winnipeg Jets look to be for real. Despite getting off to a slow start and having their blueline decimated by injury, the Jets have found a way to stay in the playoff race in the Western Conference. While it has truly been a team effort, much of the credit for their surprising play can be linked to the goaltending tandem of Ondrej Pavelec and Michael Hutchinson, as well as head coach Paul Maurice.
