Lethbridge - Oct. 24, 2013: Lethbridge Hurricanes GM Brad Robson announced Thursday night the club had sent forwards Jaimen Yakubowski and Sam McKechnie to the Seattle Thunderbirds in exchange for 17 year old Carter Folk, 19 year old Riley Sheen and a 3rd round pick in 2015. The move comes a week after the Hurricanes organization announced they had sent both players home and told to await a trade to another organization. FULL STORY

Kelowna - Oct. 17, 2013: Defenceman Riley Stadel scored three times and rookie Nick Merkley chipped in with four assists, as the Kelowna Rockets continued their strong start to the 2013-14 WHL campaign, trouncing the Lethbridge Hurricanes by a score of 6-0 on Wednesday night. Three third period goals in just 42 seconds, propelled the Hurricanes to come from behind 5-3 victory over at Rexall Place in Edmonton. Lethbridge - Aug. 31, 2013: Lethbridge Hurricanes General Manager, Brad Robson announced at the end of Training Camp Saturday, that the hockey club signed their 1st round pick from the 2013 Bantam Draft, Stuart Skinner to a WHL Standard Player Agreement. The Edmonton native played with SSAC of the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League this past season, where he posted an impressive 18-1-2 record with four shutouts, a .929 SV% and 1.75 GAA. FULL STORY
