Guelph - November 23, 2013 - Cristiano DiGiacinto's eighth of the season was the game winner, as the Spitfires doubled the CHL's fourth ranked team, the Guelph Storm, 4-2 at the Sleeman Centre on Friday night.

The victory ran Windsor's (15-7-0-0) hot streak to 11 wins in 12 games. It also ended a pair of streaks for the home side; being the first time Guelph (17-4-2-1) has lost in regulation all season at home and at all in its last sixteen games.

Alex Fotinos was outstanding in goal once again, making 37 saves while running his record to 10-0 on the season and 7-0 with the Spits.

Brady Vail, the game's first star, paced the attack offensively with a goal and two assists, while Josh Ho-Sang (1G, 1A) and Kerby Rychel (2A) each chipped in a pair of points.

Hunter Garlant and Ryan Horvat scored for Guelph, which got 29 saves from Justin Nichols.

The Spitfires are right back at it with another big game Saturday night, as they visit the Budweiser Gardens to take on the London Knights.
