Petes trade defensemen Trojanovic to Guelph
Peterborough Petes General Manager Michael Oke announced today that defenseman Steven Trojanovic has been traded to the Guelph Storm. In return, the Petes will receive their own 2015 3rd round priority selection, which was originally dealt to Guelph in 2012. Trojanovic, an over-ager from Burlington, has played in the Petes organization since the 2010-2011 season when he was acquired from the Windsor Spitfires. In his time with the Petes, Trojanovic has played in 158 games, scoring 18 goals and 43 assists along with 148 penalty minutes.

Peterborough - October 4, 2013 - Peterborough Petes General Manager Michael Oke announced today that defenseman Steven Trojanovic has been traded to the Guelph Storm.

With the return of Clark Seymour to the Petes lineup, a total of four overage players were on the roster. As per OHL rules, a team can dress only three overage players per game, and on January 7th, 2014 the roster must be reduced to three total overagers.

“Steve was a good Pete both on and off the ice during his time in Peterborough,” said Oke. “We wish him all the best in Guelph.”

“We would like to thank Steve for his dedication to the Petes organization over the past four seasons, and we hope that the rest of his overage season is very successful in Guelph,” added Petes Head Coach Jody Hull.
