Bruce Telecom Attack Home Opener on Saturday
The Owen Sound Attack will kick off another exciting season at the Bayshore on Saturday when they play host to the Peterborough Petes in the Bruce Telecom Home Opener! All players, with the exception of Kurtis Gabriel and Chris Bigras are expected to be in the Attack line-up. Chris Bigras is currently still with the Colorado Avalanche while Gabriel is honing his craft with the Minnesota Wild.

Owen Sound - September 19, 2013 - The Owen Sound Attack will kick off another exciting season at the Bayshore on Saturday when they play host to the Peterborough Petes in the Bruce Telecom Home Opener! All players, with the exception of Kurtis Gabriel and Chris Bigras are expected to be in the Attack line-up. Chris Bigras is currently still with the Colorado Avalanche while Gabriel is honing his craft with the Minnesota Wild.

The Attack will be wearing their 25th Anniversary Plater jersey’s for the Bruce Telecom Home Opener in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of OHL Hockey in Owen Sound. The Attack will also be welcoming back former Plater forward Mark Strohak prior to the game to drop the Ceremonial first puck. Mark scored the first ever goal in Owen Sound Plater history on home ice against the Kitchener Rangers.

Fans will want to hit up the Bayshore early as Bayshore Broadcasting will be holding their annual Tailgate Party prior to the game outside of the Bayshore, beginning at 5:30pm. BBQ and other family activities will be available to fans, so what better way to kick off the 2013/2014 season.
