Petes Training Camp Results: Day One
The Peterborough Petes 2013 East Side Mario’s Training Camp powered by CCM continued today with four inter-squad games. “Today was a great first day with the veterans leading by example and the younger players following close behind,” said Head Coach Jody Hull. “The play was physical and intense, and there was lots of scoring spread throughout the teams.”

Peterborough - August 31, 2013 - The Peterborough Petes 2013 East Side Mario’s Training Camp powered by CCM continued today with four inter-squad games.

At 9am, Team Flood (white) defeated Team Bogosian (maroon) 3-1. Nick Ritchie picked up a goal and an assist in the win, while Stephen Pierog scored the lone goal for Team Bogosian.

At 11am, Team Staal (gold) beat Team Downie (grey) 5-3. For Team Staal, Austin Ulett (1g-2a), Logan DeNoble (1g, 1a), and Michael Clarke (1g, 1a) stood out offensively for Team Staal while Nick Nigro (2g) and Devin Shell (2a) led the scoring attack for Team Downie.

At 5pm, Team Flood and Team Downie took to the ice with Team Downie outpacing Team Flood 8-5. Mitchell Burghardt had a hat trick in the victory with Brett Findlay notching 4 assists. Nathan Todd had two goals and an assist and Tanner Lafrance had three helpers in the loss.

At 7pm, Team Bogosian defeated Team Staal 5-3. Matej Paulovic led the way for Team Bogosian with a goal and an assist, while Stephen Nosad notched a goal and an assist for Team Staal.
