Windsor - August 7, 2013 - General Manager Warren Rychel is pleased to announce winger Chris Cobham has commited to the Windsor Spitfires by entering into a Standard OHL Player's agreement.

Cobham was taken by the club in the 10th round of the 2012 OHL Priority Selection, 188th overall. He's a 6'2, 185-lb winger that played at Gunnery Prep School, in Washington, Connecticut, last season.

In 2011-12, he scored 23 goals in 51 games with the Toronto Young Nats.

“Chris has progressed really well since the day we drafted him,” said Rychel. “He's stronger and better in all areas. We welcome him the organization.”

A 1996-born player from Moffatt, Ontario, Cobham says he's excited to join the team.

“I couldn't be happier to be with the Spitfires,” Cobham said. “I've worked hard these last two seasons and look forward to taking the next step.”

Cobham will be at training camp when it opens on August 26th at the WFCU Centre.
