Wilkes-Barre Scranton - December 27, 2014 -

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers came to town to take on the WBS Penguins WBS coming off a bad loss against the Senators last night trying to get something going tonight.

It was a great start for the WBS Penguins lots of energy lots of time in the Sound Tigers end but nothing to show for it. Great to see hometown boy Patrick McGrath on WBS ice again.

Bridgeport would tally the first goal putting the Penguins in a one goal rut but with a lot of time to get out. The first would end as Pattick McGrath takes a tripping penalty giving the Sound Tigers a 1:58 carry over power play for the second period.

The second period was not any better for WBS, Bridgeport scoring three more goals as WBS looked like they were asleep at the wheel.

Ex Penguin Collin McDonald got Bridgeport's second Sebastian Coldberg got the third and Scooter Vaughan Bridgeport's forth. At the buzzer the WBS Penguins trailed 4-0 and needed to get anything from somewhere to do something with for the third period.

WBS just could not shake it off through the third period, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers dominated this entire game setting the tone and the pace.

Bridgeport would score again with :12 left in regulation Collin McDonald would go on HTA and make it 5-0 Sound Tigers. That would be that a dominating Bridgeport team would shut out the WBS Penguins 5-0.
