Local boy on dream trip
Kameron Seguin being interviewed about his upcoming trip to the Empire State. Kameron will definitely be in a New York state of mind when he meets Cory Schneider and current members of the New Jersey Devils while touring New York City.

Windsor - April 1, 2014 - When you first meet Kameron Seguin you can’t help but be impressed by how much the nine year old boy knows about hockey. You also can’t help but notice that the young lad is confined to a wheelchair. Kameron has a condition known as congenital amyoplasia, and thanks to the Sunshine Foundation, he and his family are going on a trip this week so he can meet his favourite hockey player, New Jersey Devils goaltender Cory Schneider.

Surrounded by family and friends at the Winners store on Walker Road Saturday, Kameron was excited to talk about his dream trip to the New York area. Winners and HomeSense are partners with The Sunshine Foundation:Dreams For Kids, and since the partnership began, their customers and associates have raised over $4.6 million for Sunshine, which has been making those dreams come true since 1987.

Kameron, a loyal fan of The Windsor Spitfires (who rarely misses a game), and his family will spend time with Schneider and the Devils, and take in the game against the Washington Capitals. Also on the itinerary are visits to the Statue of Liberty, The Smithsonian Museum, the Bronx Zoo,and a Broadway Play.

TC out.
