- Brendan Gallagher & Alex Gachenyuk. Eller's line mates kept pace with their centerman. The trio accounted for two goals, six points and 11 shots on goal.

- Carey Price. Made some big saves very early before Habs hit the back of the net.

- P.K. Subban. Played a game high 28:31.

- Tomas Plekanec - Brian Gionta - Rene Bourque. Bourque picked up where he left off in the season opener but his older line mates were back in form looking like themselves. Gionta opened the scoring while Bourque closed it. 600th career game for Plekanec.

- Michel Therrien. This time he didn't hesitate to reward the Eller line with additional ice time. Eller played 18:43. Plekanec 18:02. David Desharnais 13:54. Plus, Subban got nearly 2:30 on the PK unit, And while he was on the ice when Vinny Lecavalier scored Philadelphia's only goal on the power play, it had little to do with Subban's side of the ice. Therrien also made an adjustment on the PP to start the third period when he switched Subban and Andrei Markov around, allowing P.K. the opportunity to tee up several one timers.

- Habs defense corps. Solid. All six of them.

- Michael Bournival. First NHL game was mostly mistake free.

- Travis Moen. Dropped the gloves with Luke Schenn. Moen's early season W-L record against strong, young opposing dfensemen is 2-0.

- Daniel Briere. Probably very happy to get this one out of the way early. Briere was actually quite bad. He didn't register a single shot on goal, took two bad penalties and won just 3 of 10 face offs.

- David Desharnais. Tick...tick...
