Windsor - August 31, 2017 - Windsor Spitfires General Manager Warren Rychel has agreed to terms on standard Ontario Hockey League Player and Education packages with forwards Daniel D'Amico and Jordan Frasca.

D'Amico, 16, was our sixth-round pick (#109 overall) in the 2017 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection. Frasca, 16, was chosen in the seventh round (#125 overall).

“Daniel and Jordan are going to be good players in our league,” Rychel said. “I give our scouting staff a lot of credit. We didn't have a lot of picks back in April, but we definitely made the most of them.”

Additionally, Rychel has trimmed his training camp roster to 27 after releasing 13 more players following tonight's Blue-White game.

Liam Markhauser, Austin Brimmer, Hayden Johnston, Brock Grandbois, Quintin Loon- Stewardson, Kyle West, Patrick O'Leary, Evan Benwell, Vincent Desanctis, Jack Bowler, Matteo DiGiulio, Kory Silverio and Stefan Dobrich have all been released from camp as of this evening.

The remaining 27 players will travel to Buffalo Thursday for the Ontario Hockey League Preseason Showcase which begins Friday.
