Mountain Top - November 13, 2016 -

The WBS Penguins took a trip to Hartford today to take on the Hartford Wolf Pack. The Penguins got on the boards first as Gardiner blocked a shot just inside the Penguins blue line catches up to it and comes in all alone and fires one past Hellberg making it one to none WBS.

Later Dominik Simon would backhand one in on a WBS power play Magnus Hellberg would not see it and it would be 2-0 WBS just like that. David Warsofsky would make it 3-0 WBS on another WBS PP and nice one timer past Hellberg in the final ticks of the first period.

WBS gets to start the second with 1:31 left of a PP but could not get anything out of it. Not for lack of trying during the second period the Penguins could not get anything past Magnus Hellberg.

WBS getting some chances on the power play during the second but just couldn't get anything going. As far as Defense WBS doing a stellar job of limiting SOG's giving the Wolf Pack just 12 shots through the second period.

Hartford would finally break the silence beating Tristan Jarry clean just inside the post cutting the Penguins lead down to two. Ryan Haggerty would tally his first of the season against his former team making it a 4-1 game.

That would be that for todays game the Penguins beating the Wolf Pack 4-1 taking four out of six points this weekend.
