Wilkes-Barre - November 24, 2015 -

The WBS Penguins looking for a little revenge headed to Binghamton tonight to take on the Senators. The last meeting between these two teams did not go as planned for WBS.

Penguins get an early chance Kael Mouillierat rings one off the crossbar, refs review the play but rule no goal. Carter Rowney would get WBS on the board just a few minutes later getting his own rebound and putting it in the net. Kael Mouillierat would make good on his next chance on net sliding one past O'Connor making it a two nothing game for the WBS Penguins. Binghamton would get a great chance to cut the WBS lead in half on a bad turnover near the Penguins net but Matt Murray would keep them out.

Binghamton would cut the Penguins lead in half on the power play Eric O'Dell would tally one for the Senators giving WBS something to think about and possibly giving the Senators a little lift.

Sestito and Stortini do a little dance in the beginning of the second period Stortinin looking to spark a little magic for the Senators trying to even things up as the WBS Penguins held on to a two to one lead. Schneider would tip one in for Binghamton later on the power play making it a 2-2 game. Each side would get chances on the power play during the second frame but would not have any luck.

WBS getting off to the start they wanted tonight at the end of the second were losing the special teams battle, the Senators making good on two power plays and WBS getting nothing through the end of the second at the buzzer the Senators made up the Penguins two goal start leaving the ice 2-2.

Third period gets underway both sides looking to get something going for themselves, it would be the Senators who find the lucky ticket as Ryan Dzingel would pick Dominik Uher's pocket right in front of Matt Murray and send one into the Penguins net making it a 3-2 Senators lead.

Dominik Simon would put one on net about three quarters of the way through the third it looked as if it was deflected but it just may have went off of Matt O'Connor's shoulder either way Simon gets the tally and the Penguins were even with the Senators at three. Despite both squads looking for the winning goal neither one found it in regulation forcing tonight's game to head to OT.

Matt Murray came up big for WBS stopping two nice Binghamton chances keeping his boys in this game, it would be Derrick Pouliot who would be the hero tonight for the Penguins making it a 4-3 OT victory sending the boys back down the interstate to a nice turkey dinner tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving all
