Wilkes-Barre - April 2, 2015 -

It was the WBS Penguins taking on the Hartford Wolf Pack tonight if you look at farm team relationships that's the Penguins Vs. the Rangers.  A blown coverage created a glorious chance for Hartford and gave them the first goal of tonight's game.

Although the Wolf Pack out shot the WBS Penguins 13 to 4 in the first WBS had some nice chances just couldn't seem to find the right combination.

Alex Boak and Chad Nehring did a little dance during the first and sat for five and the Penguins got a nice carry over power play at the end of the first but that was it. Leaving the ice after one Hartford lead WBS 1-0.

WBS would get in the boards in the second a nice Jayson Megna goal would even things out at one each just past the eight minute mark giving the WBS Penguins some momentum. Hartford would take back to penalties giving WBS the chance they needed and, Tom Kostopoulos would tip in a Scott Wilson shot making It 2-1 WBS.

Hartford got a chance to even things up nearing the end of the second Scott Wilson got whistled for holding them Carter Rowney snowed the Goalie and got whistled for unsportsmanlike drawing a RYS chant from the crowd. At the end of two it was WBS 2 Hartford 1.

Just ten second into the third period Dominik Uher tallies the Penguins third of the game giving the WBS Penguins s little breathing room. Uher would net his second of the game going on HTA just over eleven minutes later making it a 4-1 Penguins game.

Hartford wasn't out of this game not by any stretch of the imagination Chris Borque would make it a two goal game with the extra attacker on the ice. The Wolf Pack would get a third goal pulling even closer to the Pens but with just twenty plus seconds on the ticker the WBS Penguins would hold on for the win beating the Wolf Pack 4-3.
