Wilkes-Barre - March 21, 2015 -

The WBS Penguins faced the Binghamton Senators tonight, both teams fighting for points in the East Division. The WBS Penguins sitting in a strong second place with 79 points and Binghamton holding fourth with 64.

It was the Binghamton Senators getting on the boards first Michael Sdao would snap one past Zatkoff a little past the half way mark of the first. Troy Rutlowski would get whistled for high sticking "Double Minor" and sit for 4, but just fifteen seconds into the WBS Power Play the Senators Buddy Robinson would tally a short handed goal beating Zatkoff clean.

Nearing the two minute mark of the double minor WBS's Danny Syvret would let one lose and hit pay dirt scoring a nice WBS power play goal cutting the Senators lead in half. That's where the first would end WBS looking at a one goal deficit heading into the second frame.

WBS would even things up on a nice second effort goal by Carter Rowney proving the old play until you hear a whistle mentality just :47 into the second period. Both sides would get some chances throughout the second but it wouldn't be until late in the second someone would break the 2-2 tie.

Scott Wilson would tally the Penguins third of the night giving the WBS Penguins a one goal lead now 3-2 heading off  the ice for the second intermission with momentum for the third.

The momentum would be short lived as the Senators would score an even up goal just 1:39 into the third period. The Penguins would make attempts to get the go ahead goal but would not be able to find the right combination.

The Senators would tally their fourth of the game taking a 4-3 lead at 14:09 of the third. WBS would try to even it up again but would not be able to get things done dropping tonight's game to the Senators 4-3.
