Wilkes-Barre - February 3, 2015 -

It was the WBS Penguins taking in the Springfield Falcons tonight in Wilkes-Barre. There was a lot of end to end action in the fast moving first period the WBS Penguins getting some great chances and Matt Murray making some nice saves.

WBS would score first on the power play Scott Wilson would get the tally putting the WBS Penguins ahead of the Springfield Falcons one to none. At the first buzzer it was still WBS Penguins one and the Springfield Falcons nothing.

Not much in the way of scoring for the second period but Matt Murray put on a goaltending exhibition making some spectacular saves some without a stick and some with a borrowed stick. All in all not a bad period for the Pens, Springfield on the other hand, were trying to make up the difference but couldn't find the handle.

Third period proved to be for WBS Matt Murray held his ground for twenty more minutes getting the shutout and the Penguins tallied three more goals.

Bryan Rust would get the Pens third of the game as he put it past Scott Munroe, off a nice feed from Nick D'Agostino. Andrew Ebbett would score twice on the Penguins power play, yes twice during a 5x3 power play putting him on HTA and putting the Penguins up 4-0.

That would be tonight's game Matt Murray looking stellar against the Falcons once again. Murray has been a perfect 3 for 3 against the Falcons that's 180 minutes without a goal, not to shabby.
