Windsor - Sep. 22, 2016: The Windsor Spitfires launched their road to the Memorial Cup season with a 4-1 win over the Erie Otters in front of 5,418 fans at the WFCU Centre. Shaun Bily opened the scoring for Erie at 8:53 of the first period. It was all Spitfires from there on with goals from Cole Carter, Cole Purboo and Aaron Luchuk to give the home team a 3-1 lead after 20 minutes. Hayden McCool rounded out the scoring for the home squad in the third period. FULL STORY

His late season injury seems to have raised some questions about his durability, given his tenacious style of play. Let me remind people. The Oshawa Generals will battle the Erie Otters in a hard fought, offensively dynamic OHL Championship. The series starts on Friday and it's bound to be a good one. t this point in time, I just can't go against Connor McDavid and the Otters. Kitchener - Dec. 10, 2014: Brent Pedersen scored a pair of goals and added an assist to lead the Kitchener Rangers to a 7-4 victory over the Erie Otters on Tuesday night. Liam Maaskant scored the teddy bear goal in the Rangers' 20th Annual Teddy Bear Toss, which collected a team-record 9,882 stuffed animals. FULL STORY

Nick Magyar, Max Iafrate and Eric Ming all scored from the Rangers and Josh Sterk added a pair of assists in the win. The Otters opened the scoring near the midway mark of the first period. Erie - Sep. 4, 2013: The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League have acquired defenseman Cory Genovese from the Sudbury Wolves in exchange for forward Connor Crisp and defenseman Jimmy McDowell. The Otters also received Kingston’s third round pick in 2015 and Oshawa’s fourth round pick in 2016 as part of the deal. FULL STORY

Erie - Sep. 4, 2013: The Erie Otters Hockey Club of the Ontario Hockey League have released two players from their preseason roster. Trent Fox, a fifth round pick in the 2013 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection, has been released by Erie to return to his previous team. Trent, who is the younger brother of Otters forward Dane Fox, spent his first OHL camp with the team last week. FULL STORY
