Seattle - Oct. 19, 2013: The Prince George Cougars defeated the Seattle Thunderbirds 5-4 on Friday night, courtesy of a shootout winner from Jordan Tkatchi. It was a game filled to the brim with shots, chances and offensive hockey. The loss was Seattle’s first at home in 2013-14 and brought their record to 8-3-0-1. Prince George improved to 6-6-0-1. Victoria - Oct. 17, 2013: The Victoria Royals rode a four goal first period outburst to a 5-4 victory over the Prince George Cougars in Wednesday night WHL action. The win was the Royals fifth straight, pushing them to the top of the Western Conference's BC Division, two points clear of the red-hot Kelowna Rockets, who have played four fewer games than the division leaders. Kennewick - Sep. 23, 2013: Two goals from Troy Bourke proved to be too much for the Tri-City Americans to overcome, falling 2-1 to the Prince George Cougars in Sunday night WHL action. Portland - Sep. 21, 2013: On a night in which the Portland Winterhawks raised their 2012-13 WHL championship banner, they proceeded to open defence of that very title in rather convincing fashion, pounding the Prince George Cougars by a score of 9-2 in Friday night Western Hockey League action. Prince George - Sep. 8, 2013: The Prince George Cougars earned their fourth straight preseason victory after holding off the Edmonton Oil Kings by a score of 2-1, in Saturday night WHL action. Chase Witala and David Soltes scored third period goals while Ty Edmonds turned aside 28 of the 29 shots he faced in goal. St.Albert - Sep. 1, 2013: Two goal efforts from Jari Erricson and Jordan Tkatch proved to be too much for the Medicine Hat Tigers, as the Prince George Cougars registered their second win in less than 24 hours, with a 4-1 victory on Sunday afternoon. Prince George - Aug. 26, 2013: Sunday night in Prince George, 40 of the top non-veteran players from Prince George Cougars training camp squared off in the first annual Rob Charney Cup. Team Brewer came back from a 3-0 deficit to defeat Team Bouck 4-3 in regulation time. Brad Morrison had two assists for Team Brewer while Jansen Harkins had two goals and an assist for Team Bouck.
