Rychel invited to Team Canada Development Camp
Spitfires forward Kerby Rychel is one of 35 players that have been invited to Canada’s National Junior Team summer development camp, set for August 4th to 10th in Brossard, Quebec and Lake Placid, N.Y. Rychel and a number of the other players on the summer development camp roster will be front and centre at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft on June 30th in New Jersey, where many are expected to be selected in the first and second rounds.

Windsor - June 28, 2013 - Spitfires forward Kerby Rychel is one of 35 players that have been invited to Canada’s National Junior Team summer development camp, set for August 4th to 10th in Brossard, Quebec and Lake Placid, N.Y.

“It's a great honour to be chosen to attend this camp,” Rychel said. “Anytime you get the chance to possibly compete for your country, it's special. There's a lot of great players that will be there. I look forward to the chance to compete alongside them.”

Canada’s roster is comprised of three goaltenders, 12 defencemen and 20 forwards. In total, 22 players will be selected to represent Canada at the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship, December 26th, 2013 to January 5th, 2014 in Malmö, Sweden.

Canada’s National Junior Team will gather in Brossard for two practices on August 4th and 5th before travelling to Lake Placid, New York, for exhibition games against Finland (August 7th), Sweden (August 8th) and the United States (August 10th).

Rychel and a number of the other players on the summer development camp roster will be front and centre at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft on June 30th in New Jersey, where many are expected to be selected in the first and second rounds.
