SHORT SHIFT - Attack edge Spitfires in final two seconds of OT

Curtis Douglas scored a pair a goals, including his 30th of the season to send the game to OT. Kaleb Pearson scored with two seconds to go in overtime to propel the Owen Sound Attack to a 3-2 victory over the Windsor Spitfires in front of 3,527 fans at the WFCU Centre. The Spits dug themselves a hole, trailing 2-0 after 20 minutes.


Windsor - Mar. 6, 2020:
Kaleb Pearson scored with two seconds to go in overtime to propel the Owen Sound Attack to a 3-2 victory over the Windsor Spitfires in front of 3,527 fans at the WFCU Centre.

The Spits dug themselves a hole, trailing 2-0 after 20 minutes. A pair of goals by Curtis Douglas (29,30) tied the game for Windsor and forced OT. Douglas' tying goal came on the powerplay with 1:09 left to go in the game.

The Spits are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Flint to take on the Firebirds. They are home on Sunday afternoon against the Kitchener Rangers. Game time is 2:05 pm.
