Devlin paces Spits win over Storm
Brandon Devlin made the most of his return to the lineup Friday, scoring an early goal and adding two assists as the Spits beat the Storm 6-4 at the Sleeman Centre.

Guelph - October 27, 2012 - Brandon Devlin made the most of his return to the lineup Friday, scoring an early goal and adding two assists as the Spits beat the Storm 6-4 at the Sleeman Centre.

Derek Schoenmakers (7), Emerson Clark (1), Pat Sieloff (2), Michael Clarke (6) and Kerby Rychel (9) had the other goals for Windsor (7- 5-0-3), who handed Guelph (9-3-0-1) just their third regulation loss of the season.

Clarke, who scored the eventual winner on the power play at 12:32 of the second period, and Schoenmakers each had two-point nights.

Jaroslav Pavelka (33 saves) was outstanding in goal for the Spits.

Garret Sparks (23 saves) was pulled after Sieloff's goal at 8:53 of the second, replaced by Jason DaSilva, who faced just seven shots in his 29 minutes of work.

Devlin, who was a healthy scratch last Saturday in Erie and again Thursday in Sarnia, and Sieloff both finished the night +3, with Brady Vail and Chris Marchese posting +2 ratings.
