Cornwall - Sep. 12, 2011 - The Cornwall Motor Speedway presented the 25th edition of the Fireball Enduro. An afternoon with great action including 50-lap races for ladies 4-cylinders, 4-cylinder men, 6 cylinders and 8 cylinders vehicles. This event is always a crowd please as the stands were full and nearly 300 cars in the pits.

The afternoon started with the ladies 50-lap event, a field of 38 cars started the 50-lap race. Jodi Pynenburg finished on top with close to 20 cars being able to finish the race.

The men`s 6 cylinders took the track next with 64 cars taking the initial green in the 50-lap event. Michael Duval won the race with more than 20 cars finishing the race.

A total of 75 cars took the green in the 4-cylinder feature race, a big pileup in turn 1 after only a few lap with cars stopped all around the track made for a challenging race, and Matthew Pynenburg won the race.

The 8 cylinders were next on the track as 53 cars took the green in the 50-lap race, these drivers got to high speeds around the halfway point and it was another entertaining race. Luke Marti was the winner of this feature.

The last event of the day was a second 50-lap 4 cylinders race with 70 cars taking the initial start. Matthew Pynenburg had a perfect day in this category by winning his second race.

The 2011 season will end in fashion as the Jiffy 200 will be postponed to the afternoon of September 25th. On the schedule, the heat races for Sportsman, Modified and Pro-Stock along with the 125-lap mixed Canadian Nationals and MrDIRTcar Series, it will also be the last race of the Mohawk Race Parts Pro-Stock Series will also end with a 50-lap event. The Sportsman, Semi-Pro and Mini-Stock will also have their feature race.
