Cornwal - Aug. 4, 2011 - It's a new beginning for Eastern Ontario's #1 pro wrestling organization, Mecca Pro Wrestling. Saturday, August 27th will mark the first time MPW hosts an event at Friktion NightClub (113 1/2 Pitt Street) with a new bell time start of 6:30 pm.

The event, entitled "A New Level" will feature a huge main event match for Cornwall wrestling fans as local hero Canadian Justice goes head to head with the muscle of V:I:P (Violation In Progress), Frank Couture. The winner of that match will receive a title shot at the current reigning MPW Champion FireStorm at the following show, yet to be announced.

Also on the card, V:I:P ("The Rage" Randy Berry & MTH) will defend the MPW Tag Team Championship against the very energetic and exciting duo of Jae Rukin & Shocker. Plus, The Green Phantom vs. Dave Titan, Reggie Marley vs. Gaetan Lamour, Xplicit vs. Johnny Jack Spade, the MPW debut of Damien "The Barbarian" and much more.

MPW management want to stress that although this event will be held in a night club, it will remain an all ages show. Children are welcome. Tickets for "A New Level" are on sale now for the low price of $12 per person or $40 for a Family Pack of 4 and can be purchased at Friktion Nightclub, Poppy's Pawns Plus (224 Pitt Street) or by calling 613-936-1551.
