OUR PAST - Cornwall Royals
Windsor - Jun. 1, 2011 - A young Doug Gilmour of the Cornwall Royals being pushed by a young Al MacInnis of the Kitchener Rangers in the 1981 Memorial Cup in Windsor.

Doug Gilmour and Al MacInnis would meet again at the 1986 Campbell Conference finals. Dougie was on the St. Louis Blues and Al was a part of the Calgary Flames that won the series in 7 games and would go on to the Stanley Cup finals where they lost to Montreal.

In 1989 they were both on the Calgary Flames and would win a Stanley Cup together by beating those same Canadiens.

Plus, Gilmour started his NHL career with the Blues and Al would finish his career with them.
