Colchester - May 11, 2014 - A full tea at Serenity Lavender was our Mother's Day afternoon pleasure.

A harpist set the atmosphere while beautiful guests relaxed and enjoyed scrumptious food, various teas and some award winning wines from North 42 Degrees Estate Winery. Finger sandwiches and an array of edibles with a sprinkling of lavender like the English scones (with clotted cream of course or lavender jelly), shortbreads, petit fours, macaroons, and brownies.

This is a yearly event and worth the scenic drive to Colchester or make the drive to check out the store and North 42 Degrees' wines any time of the year (serenitylavendar.com and north42degrees.com).

Happy Mother's Day to all Moms and especially our Mom's, Connie who we got to share the afternoon with and Irma who we think of often.
