- January 1, 2015 - Amazing ladies utilizing their creative genes to create meaningful gift products that capture the spirit of grassroots hockey and promote core values, celebrate achievements and commemorate hockey traditions.

My cousins have always been involved in various sports at competitive levels however, they had not fully experienced minor hockey until their own kids pursued the game. As hockey moms, they discovered a love for the game and an appreciation that minor hockey offers in promoting core values that transcend the rink.

They also discovered another common interest and passion - photography. They’ve spent countless hours at the rink behind the lens capturing those significant, teachable moments on which Gift of the Game is based.

At the end of the hockey season they use their photographs to create greeting cards, framed prints and books. They gave these “gifts of the game” to their children, nephews, team mates, coaches, managers and volunteers. And so began, Gift of the Game.
