I made a trade to be farm team compliant but picked up an extra player putting me at the 25 maximum roster players. I'm not on the list of teams allowed to go to 26 players so I traded my September waiver pick to Polar Bears.

Chris advised of the trade but he may not action it before my draft pick comes up, thus this post to say that Polar Bears will pick at #4 instead of Cow Pucks.

Just walked down the hallway to see Jean, we work in the same building, and he's in the floor so I'm posting his pick for him:

56 D Edler, Alexander A VAN

Expos up next.

spartans take Arturri Lechenen from Mtl

Just a side note. YThe sight is set up to allow us to dress any player that we have not protected. That appears to protect the integrity of the minor league system. It also frees up a lot options for GM's. Just something to think about

Thanks Joe. Not sure where you are going with this, but the reason protected players are not allowed in the minors is to protect the integrity of the majors, not the minors. The constitution speaks about dressing your best line-up every week. This rule prevents GMs from dressing McDavid or Matthews or Holtby or whatever star in the minors instead of the majors...thus weakening their major team.

The big money is in the majors, not the minors. Minors are meant to be a fun addition, with a little extra dough on the side. It helps keeps more GM's focused for all 26 weeks and adds a twist to trading.

Make no mistake about it - this league is about the Majors, not the minors.
