That is a great solution Chris, and the only fair one possible given the circumstances.

I think that the waiver draft has worked well all year, with the exception of this final March draft, where many owners simply took too long to pick...it should not take a week and a half to pick 24 players. My suggestion would be that once a pick is made, the next owner has a max of 12 hours to make his pick (no timer necessary, the time stamp on the post or email to Chris will do).

Owners who fall outside that time frame lose their pick. This would hopefully encourage each owner to check regularly to see where the draft is, resulting in its moving along at a much faster pace.

As for the idea of cancelling the March waiver for next year, I like the idea of retaining the March waiver for next year and beyond, as a few owners had multiple injuries at one position, and needed to draft a healthy body. The March waiver allowed us to do that.

Greay final week drama b/w the Irish and the Outlaws - Irish need to win or a tie to clinch, while the Outlaws own the tiebreaker in the event they win and the Irish lose! Wow! PRESSURE! May the best team win!

I think one way to ensure that the waiver draft keeps moving is for the owner who has made a pick to fire off a quick e-mail to the next one in line. (I'm pretty sure Chris suggested this earlier) It's just a friendly reminder that you're up!
