1) I'm ok with proposals being voted on in the forum. But I'm NOT OK with the way this one is being handled. If we're going to use the forum for future votes I propose we include a mandatory 7 day discussion period before a vote is taken. This would give us ample time to discuss, dispute and voice our opinion of the proposal to allow us to fine tune it before it goes to a vote. Glenn's proposal is a prime example. Here I am suggesting a small change to his proposal even though 7 GMs have already voted. Do we need to start the vote over again to decide if a 7 day discussion period should be added?

I say let's discuss the issue and start the voting on Sunday April 14th.

2) I'm delaying my vote on Glenn's proposal until we decide on issue 1

Jacob....everytime I try to reply to your account....I get it bounced back. I will post your thoughts for you and mark you as AGAINST on both proposals.

Hey Chris,

I did not want to post this on that forum because it is a whole other suggestion and I do not want to jump in and interrupt that one.

What I was thinking was

1. Use the forum to raise issues or suggestions...let people comment and think about it...and have the official vote when we Skype. People may raise issues and make suggestions (like I am) and so it offers an opportunity to tweak it before we vote.

I see that we are running into this already. I think I like Mark's idea.

2. Instead of Conference Champs have wildcard winners in each conference for that $100. That way if you are stuck in a very strong division like the Wales you can still get that little extra money. We've seen before where the 5th or 6th best team in the league gets nothing.

With all that said I don't know what you think we should do with it. I can just vote on the issue at hand and keep my mouth shut or raise new issues but I don't want to ruffle any feathers.

Let me know what you think.

1. I am for making proposals on the forum, provided they have time specs for discussion prior to being voted on, and maybe have a specified dates where proposals can be set forth.

2. I vote no on the 2nd proposal.
