Propoasl:

The drop for the waiver draft is not due until your selection is made.

Reasoning:
If I get Player A I will drop Player B. But I do not want to risk dropping Player B if I can not get Player A. This comes into play more the later you draft in the waiver draft. There may be an upgrade you see out there that interests you but you are not willing to drop one of your players to take the chance the replacement player you want will still be there 10-20 picks later. I prefer the DFHL model to the waiver draft (for those of you in both) and I think this change will bring more strategy to the waiver draft than just replacing injured players. Hopefully I explained my thought process well enough and enough of you agree with this proposal.

Roadkill 2nd the motion.

I would add that in cap based pools you can't just "take a guy that's similar" because of cap hits, this wouldn't be needed in non-cap pools.

For those not familiar, the DFHL model puts all cut players available via waiver-wire after the waiver draft with priority given to lowest seeds to make claims. The lowest seeds can draft a player with their pick and also claim someone cut by another franchise to help build up their player base.

Wyverns approve this motion. I also prefer the way it's done in the DFHL.
