I have two items that I need your feedback on.
Housekeeping matter in the Constitution.
I took a "best guess" approach last year to the draft constitution. It has become clear during Free Agent Frenzy that we need to tweak the language of the Constitution slightly.
A number of teams have been forced over the Cap this summer due to no fault of their own. An NHL GM is in full control of their team's cap compliance but the same is not true for HHFL GMs. To rectify, I simply want to waive the Cap in the offseason. Once each team cuts back to 11 players, they will need to be cap compliant and remain that way.
Below is the proposed re-write. Blue strikeout text will be removed. Red text will be added. Black text will remain.
Please respond to this thread with APPROVE or DO NOT APPROVE. Once we get 13 approval votes, the amendment will carry.
2020-21 HHFL Season
I know of one GM who has indicated that they will not return for next season. Before we begin the recruitment process, I would like to hear from each of you with respect to your intentions for next season.
